Functieomschrijving Want to engineer solutions for complex vehicle modifications? As Mechanical Engineer, you'll take projects from concept through production within specialized vehicle systems. You'll tackle mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics — turning customer requirements into perfectly executed technical solutions. A role where your engineering directly impacts real-world results. 💼 Your New Role What you'll do: • Lead customer project modifications from intake through completion • Manage complex adaptations within specialized production systems • Work across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical disciplines • Develop control plans and assembly instructions for project closure • Collaborate with a skilled 12-person engineering team • Design and produce 3D models using CAD software • Ensure accuracy, quality and timely project delivery • Problem-solve and maintain overview of multiple concurrent projects Functie-eisen Your Profile: • HTS/MTS in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology (or equivalent) • Proven experience in heavy commercial vehicles or special vehicle construction • Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems • 3D CAD skills — Creo Parametrics experience preferred • Excellent English (written and spoken) • Service-oriented mindset with accuracy and attention to detail • Proactive problem-solver who maintains project overview • Good communication and collaborative skills Nice to have: • Experience at a vehicle builder, coachwork facility or commercial vehicle company • Continuous improvement mindset Arbeidsvoorwaarden 💰 What We Offer ✅ Salary: Competitive package between €3800 and €5200,- ✅ Hours: 38 per week (Friday afternoons free from 12:45) ✅ Vacation: 25 days per year ✅ Pension: Solid pension arrangement ✅ CAO: Metaal en Techniek (Metal & Technology collective agreement) ✅ Workplace: Office-based with home-working options ✅ Growth: Clear opportunities for internal advancement ✅ Team Culture: Open, collaborative, knowledge-rich environment ✅ Development: Access to training and professional development 📞 Ready to Join?
