These manuals describe onboard systems, individual components, system relationships, safety instructions, and operating procedures for different vessel types. The exact vessel type will be confirmed based on project planning. The role is available both as a permanent employment position and as a freelance assignment. Where You'll Work : You will work from the engineering office in Gorinchem, with hybrid working options of around 50% from home and 50% on site. You will be part of a technical documentation environment where engineering information, supplier input, and operational requirements come together in customer-facing manuals. What You'll Be Working On: Your main focus will be the Vessel Operating Manual . This manual gives vessel operators detailed information about onboard systems, equipment, components, operating modes, and relevant documentation. The manuals include instructions for start-up and shutdown of main machinery, as well as operation of primary, secondary, electrical, and auxiliary systems. For each system, you will help describe the system function, layout, operating instructions, system modes, safety warnings, and links with other onboard systems.
