Maritime Electrical Technician (publications-44576-C)

As a Maritime Electrical Technician, you will work on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on different types of vessels, including yachts, offshore vessels, and workboats. You will be involved in projects ranging from new shipbuilding to maintenance and refit activities. Your responsibilities include: - Reading and interpreting maritime electrical drawings and schematics; - Installing onboard cabling, switchboards, and control systems; - Testing and commissioning electrical installations; - Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and malfunctions; - Supporting upgrades and modifications of onboard systems. You will mainly work at shipyards and port locations, with occasional assignments on board vessels. - MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering or Maritime Technology; - Experience with electrical installations, preferably in the maritime sector; - Knowledge of maritime systems and standards is an advantage; - VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one; - Driving license B; - Independent and accurate working style; - Good command of Dutch or English.
