Core Responsibilities - Draft, review, and maintain policy wordings, endorsements, product disclosures, and related contractual documents. - Ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, internal standards, and risk appetite. - Partner with Product, Underwriting, Claims, Compliance, and external counsel to interpret requirements and implement updates. - Manage wording change control, versioning, approvals, and documentation governance. - Provide guidance on legal interpretation, contract clarity, and dispute prevention; support claims and complaints escalation as needed. - Monitor regulatory and market changes; assess impact and drive timely revisions to documentation. Required Skills & Experience - Legal drafting expertise in contracts, policy wordings, or regulated financial services documentation. - Regulatory knowledge and experience working with compliance frameworks and audit-ready processes. - Stakeholder management across cross-functional teams; ability to translate legal requirements into operational language. - Detail orientation with strong document control, version management, and quality assurance. - Communication skills to produce clear, customer-friendly wording while protecting the organization's legal position.
