Your missionStaybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is an extended stay hotel with 101 suites. All rooms are equipped with a private kitchen and a (semi-)separate bedroom. Will you help us make our guests feel at home when they are away for a longer period of time? At the hotel you can park for free, and public transport stops either right across the street or around the corner. What will you do as a Maintenance Technician(f/m/d)? - Always ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff - Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks - Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving technical issues - Supporting repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas - Monitoring and maintaining technical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) - Assisting external contractors when required - Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation Functie-eisen: Your profile - Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance) - Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing work environments and situationsJob requirements - Previous experience in maintenance, technical services, or a similar role is preferred - Willingness to learn and develop technical skills - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required - Basic knowledge of health and safety regulationsBenefits - Employee discount at more than 6,600 hotels worldwide; - Employment through Borealis Hotel Group (one of the franchise partners of IHG Hotels & Resorts). - Learning and development opportunities - Recognition and career growth
