As a Logistics team leader at DPD in Oirschot, near Eindhoven, you'll manage a team daily and ensure smooth operations. You coach employees, monitor progress, and contribute to process improvements. What will you do? In this role, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager and other team leaders in a three-shift system. The working hours are 14:00-22:30, 22:30-07:00, and 22:30-07:00. Of course, you'll receive a shift allowance on top of your salary. You'll lead a team of 35 colleagues, including 10 permanent staff and 25 temporary workers. At the start of your shift, you walk through the depot, create a planning, and share it with the senior operations employees. Throughout the day, you adjust where needed, solve problems, and ensure a safe working environment. You end your shift with a proper handover to your colleague. - Coordinate daily logistics processes - Create and manage operational planning - Monitor KPIs and resolve bottlenecks - Ensure a safe and compliant work environment - Collaborate with colleagues and report to the Operations Manager Job requirements What do you bring? - A vocational (MBO) diploma, preferably in logistics. - 1-2 years of work experience in a logistics environment. - Willingness to work in a three-shift system, starting Sunday evening through Friday night: - 14:00 - 22:30 - 22:30 - 07:00 - - Good command of Dutch and English. - Experience with LEAN is a plus. - A team player who is stress-resistant a...
