The modern office in Zoeterwoude offers the perfect, inspiring base where your logistics drive and ambitions fully thrive.  Functieomschrijving As a Project Logistics Specialist in Zoeterwoude, you take full ownership of the logistics execution for large-scale, international projects. You are the strategic core and the essential link connecting project teams, suppliers, transport providers, and internal Export Control and Customs teams. With your expertise, you always maintain structure and oversight, even when pressure mounts. Your sharp eye for logistics processes and costs ensures that every shipment arrives at its destination efficiently, compliantly, and on time. Your main responsibilities: • Ensuring a flawless preparation and processing of critical logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading, customs instructions, certificates of origin, and invoices. • Acting as the primary point of contact for international carriers and logistics service providers to manage transport claims effectively and resolve damage cases proactively. • Calculating and monitoring logistics costs for various global projects while interpreting specific project packing and marking specifications. • Developing and implementing robust logistics contingency plans to minimize risks for current and future deliveries. • Managing and updating all shipment data within customer systems to ensure a transparent and streamlined delivery execution. Functie-eisen You bring the following success factors as a professional: • An obtained bachelor or master degree in Logistics Management or a directly related business administration discipline. • A minimum of 5 years of solid work experience in an international, project-based supply chain environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Deep knowledge of import and export documentation, international customs processes, and a flawless application of Incoterms across multimodal transportation methods. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to switch effectively between various internal and external parties. • Fluent command of the English and Dutch languages in both speech and writing, German would be a big plus.
