Functiebeschrijving

Bedrijfsomschrijving Through Randstad Professional, you will work at Bol., one of the most forward-thinking e-commerce leaders in the Benelux. Innovation is at the core of this organization, offering you the autonomy to make a tangible impact on the logistics infrastructure of the future. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of experienced LPEs, Product Managers, software engineers, data scientists, and operational colleagues. A Lead LPE will oversee overall progress and serve as your dedicated sounding board. Ready to drive this major logistical milestone? Apply directly via the application button and shape the future at Bol.! Functieomschrijving In January 2028, Bol. will open the doors of its brand-new fulfillment center, BFC3. This logistical hub is essential to accommodate strong customer growth and ensure strict compliance with food and lithium-ion regulations. To seamlessly integrate this new facility into the existing warehousing network, a critical challenge lies ahead. By Q3 2026, the complete flow for inbound and outbound steering must be defined: how will products enter the warehouse, and how will customer orders be sourced from it as part of the overall network? As a Logistics Process Engineer (LPE), you will play a key role in organizing, connecting, and designing these vital logistical processes. Operating independently as an external LPE, you will bridge the gap between IT and business operations. You will gather requirements from diverse stakeholders, drive solution discovery, and synthesize input across the entire chain into a cohesive functional design. Your primary deliverable by the end of Q3 is an initial functional design—featuring detailed process flows, requirements, and open questions—paired with a clear delivery timeline leading up to the January 2028 go-live. Rather than joining a single product team, you will establish the necessary meeting structures to drive results across cross-functional groups of software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and operational teams. Functie-eisen To make a lasting impact as a Logistics Process Engineer at Bol., you bring the following qualifications: • Proven professional experience as a Logistics Process Engineer, Business Analyst, or Supply Chain Consultant within complex distribution networks. • Strong affinity with IT processes and the end-to-end steering of logistical chains (inbound and outbound). • Solid track record in requirements gathering, process flow design, and project roadmap planning. • Hands-on experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycles or network planning. • Demonstrated ability to independently establish governance structures and drive stakeholder alignment across all organizational levels. With your pragmatic mindset, you turn long-term vision into actionable milestones. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and navigate effortlessly between operational teams, software engineers, and fellow LPEs. Arbeidsvoorwaarden As a professional at Randstad Professional | Yacht, you can count on a competitive compensation package: • A good salary between €6,000 and €7,500 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week. • A one-year contract with a view to a permanent contract. • 25 vacation days per year based on a 40-hour work week. • 8.33% vacation allowance. • An attractive supplementary pension scheme. • Allowance to set up your home office. • A monthly net allowance for internet, laptop, and mobile usage. • Unlimited access to the Randstad Academy featuring over 5,000 courses and training programs. • A dedicated training budget to pursue job-related education and certifications. • Travel expense reimbursement. • A referral bonus of €500 per successfully placed candidate you introduce to Randstad Professional. • Various bonus schemes. • The opportunity to work hybrid. • Personal guidance and a dedicated HR contact person to support your career and professional development.
