Learning and Development Specialist
As a Learning and Development Specialist at YEARTH Academy, you are responsible for designing, structuring and refining our learning and training programs in the areas of leadership, culture and organizational development. You will focus on the substantive aspects of learning: systematically designing learning pathways, modules and learning interventions that align with our customers' strategic goals and with YEARTH's vision on learning and development.
You draw on current insights from learning psychology and educational science to develop programs that are effective, engaging, and meaningful. In doing so, you focus on the quality of the design: the structure of learning pathways, the balance between theory and practice, and the integration of reflection and behavior change.
In collaboration with colleagues within Learning & Development, you will develop trainer's manuals, participant materials, and blended learning environments. You will translate feedback and evaluations into content improvements and ensure the consistency and pedagogical quality of the overall program.
You keep track of developments in the field of learning and development and translate them into innovative teaching methods and pedagogical concepts. Using an analytical and design-oriented approach, you contribute to the continuous renewal of our programs and the further strengthening of YEARTH Academy's subject-matter expertise.

This is YEARTH
YEARTH Academy was founded in 2001 by Erik van Gend with a clear goal: to inspire and support people, teams and organizations to reach their full potential. From this vision, we offer solutions that make professionals and organizations mentally strong and sustainably employable.
We develop High Impact Training programs for individuals, teams and organizations ready to take a meaningful and lasting step in their development. We do this through a personal, result-driven approach, continuous innovation and a high standard of quality.
YEARTH is not a traditional training institute. We adapt our methods to the individual, rather than adapting individuals to fixed methods. Development requires a new perspective, the courage to break patterns, and the willingness to innovate. That's why we design programs that go beyond conventional approaches and align with what people and teams truly need to grow.
Career opportunities
There are plenty of opportunities for growth within YEARTH Academy. Personal development is, of course, a top priority, and you'll work on this together with your colleagues. On Friday afternoons, we organize workshops that you can attend. You can also choose to attend a variety of training programs. The most important thing is that you take responsibility for your own growth and development.
About YEARTH
Colleagues you will be working with
With my background in organizational psychology, it is important for me to work in an environment where there is genuine attention for people. At YEARTH, you are given the space to truly contribute to sustainable behavioral change. As a result, not only do participants in our training courses grow, but I continue to grow as well. That mutual development makes this work truly special to me.
Jamilia Walhof
Learning & Development Specialist
At YEARTH Academy, everything revolves around personal development, unlocking your full potential, and creating real impact. These are three core values I look for in my work and where I find great fulfillment. It's meaningful to work for an organization where this focus is central every single day, surrounded by like-minded colleagues who share the same purpose.
I work in a team that is truly committed to quality. We develop programs that make a measurable difference for participants and organizations, and we are given the freedom to innovate. The combination of content, creativity, and collaboration makes this work incredibly meaningful to me.
