As a Lead Engineer Solar Arrays, you will play a key role in the development of advanced solar array systems for international space missions. You will translate customer requirements into smart technical solutions and guide multidisciplinary projects from the proposal stage through to execution. In doing so, you will directly contribute to innovations that support satellite navigation, communications, climate research and air quality monitoring. Your Responsibilities - You will be technically responsible for the successful development of innovative Solar Array projects. - Provide technical leadership throughout the complete lifecycle of Solar Array development projects. - Translate customer requirements into feasible technical solutions using existing products or by supporting the development of new solutions. - Review and approve mechanical designs, technical drawings and 3D models. - Support project budgeting by estimating engineering effort and technical costs. - Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Product Managers, Sales and multidisciplinary engineering teams while contributing to technical improvements and product innovation.
