As a Shearer and Bender, you'll be producing components that form the basis of high-quality car transporters. You'll be working with modern machinery, technical drawings and various types of metal. As a Shearer and Bender, you ensure that components are machined to a high standard of precision. - You cut, position and shape steel and aluminium; - You set up and programme CNC machines based on technical drawings; - You check the dimensions and quality of the components; - You assist where necessary with forklift or welding work; - You contribute ideas for improvements to the production process. Who are you? As a Shearer, you work meticulously and have a good understanding of the technical aspects of the job. - You have experience in metalworking or are keen to learn the trade; - You can read technical drawings; - You work accurately and independently; - You are willing to obtain a forklift licence if you do not already have one; - You are available for 30 to 38 hours per week.
