Key Account Manager

In this role, you will work on unique food and non-food concepts within Retail and Foodservice. Together with colleagues and clients, you will build strong customer relationships, drive commercial growth, and develop innovative concepts. We are a service organization hired by clients. As a result, you will typically work for 3 to 4 different clients, primarily within food retail concepts. This makes your work varied, dynamic, and professionally engaging. What you can expect • Salary between €3,500 and €4,100, depending on your experience • Company car, including private use • Full-time position (40 hours per week) • Working for an average of 3 to 4 clients and food retail concepts • Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and grow your career • A role with responsibility, variety, and visible impact Who you are You have at least 3 years of head office experience with Superunie members, Albert Heijn, Jumbo, or similar retail organizations. You understand how retailers operate, how commercial decisions are made, and how to turn opportunities into results. You are someone who: • is proactive and has a strong commercial drive • has experience with commercial negotiations, account development, and customer relationship management • thinks analytically and strategically, while also being able to execute plans effectively • can easily switch between clients, retailers, and colleagues • works accurately, takes initiative, and accepts responsibility What you will do You will be responsible for the commercial performance of various clients and concepts. You will set SMART objectives, work from a clear action plan, maintain relationships with key accounts, and translate market and customer insights into concrete proposals. In addition, you will conduct commercial meetings, deliver presentations, negotiate terms and conditions, and close deals. You will also prepare reports, organize quarterly business reviews, and act as a strategic sparring partner for clients.
