This information is used by traffic engineers, road authorities, and emergency services - both in the Netherlands and abroad. What will you do as our Java Developer? You will work on mission-critical Java applications that are essential for the functioning of traffic systems. Examples are OTIS (which enriches traffic jam reports, indicates detours, and provides warnings such as for wrong-way drivers) and TGOX (which enables real-time monitoring of road sections by traffic control centers). Another project is about preventing collisions in inland shipping by sharing vessel intentions. Besides Rijkswaterstaat , key clients include Stedin and the ANWB .
