Intermediate Backend Engineer Requirements - ----------- ### Must have: ### - This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in our Cape Town office. - 4--5 years experience of relevant experience in Backend development - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English speaking environment - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Experience in developing backend systems - Experience in one or more: Node.js, Java, Ruby, PHP, Python etc. - Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a singular system - Knowledge of CI/CD practises - Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Responsibilities: - ---------------- - Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Collaborate with Frontend developers (team) in integrating user facing elements Company: - -------
