Our technology sits at the heart of nextgeneration augmented reality-where performance, size, and scalability define success. We're looking for an Integrated Photonics Engineer in support of our product development and volume scaling. Brilliance is a start-up, but we're leaning on >20 years of technology development and IP within the Twente area. Currently we are delivering the prototypes to our customers while growing the company and preparing for high volume production. We offer the unique opportunity to join us and become part of our core team in this exciting phase. What you will be doing? • You are the owner of the Photonic IC part of our product designs, in design layout and technology. • You are the main contact for external design support as well as and PIC manufacturing, both in development and product scaling. • You support the PIC platform developments in our roadmaps for volume scaling as well as adding functionality and further integration foe next generations. • You contribute to customer specific projects and development projects • You support customer and partner projects in the global AR ecosystem What you bring? • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or related field • 2-3 years of integrated photonics experience • Self-starter, not afraid to think outside the box to drive results • Broad technical interest and the ability to combine fundamental thinking with a practical, result driven, approach.
