Integral Designer Public Space

Minimum 32 hours, for 6 months Starting date: february/march 2025 The city is facing several new large and radical challenges such as energy transition, climate adaptation, circularity, mobility, biodiversity and digitization. The lack of space due to urban growth both above and below ground require different working methods using system innovations and require even better cooperation in the chain to enable the developments in the field of data-driven work and BIM. therefore looking for an intern who recognizes himself in this integral approach. Do you want to gain experience from your studies in an interdisciplinary team where sustainability and innovation are the common thread running through area development as well as public space? contribute to the team Designing Public Space. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work on various tasks and themes. The tasks you can work on are: •Design studies/exploratory studies; • making concrete contributions to integral designs for or in public space from initiative to final, including coordination with all relevant disciplines; • Participating in project groups and partnerships with external parties; • Participating in internal debates, theme meetings and workshops. You will be linked to 1 person who will guide you during your learning process. You can choose from three different projects to participate in: Urban Ecological Water Quality Contribute to a publication about water quality in urban areas. You will research ecological aspects and help share knowledge on improving urban water management.
