Inside Sales Representative Embassy Freight Rotterdam is a comprehensive freight forwarder with an informal culture. At our own Embassy Way, we provide various logistical services, including air and sea freight, road transport, and stowage. We also handle the necessary customs documents and various certificates for our clients. We are part of the Embassy Freight Group. With 7 own offices in Northern Europe and another 50 affiliated offices worldwide, we can offer a suitable solution for our customers in virtually every air and main port. The role We are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative for 40 hours per week to join our sales department. What are your core tasks as an Inside Sales Representative? • You purchase rates, prepare quotations, and follow them up • You share responsibility for maintaining the satisfaction of our current customers and agents • You primarily make acquisition calls to attract new customers • You ensure the administrative processing of quotations • Together with your colleagues, you strive to achieve the set targets • You maintain contact with customers, suppliers, customs, shipping companies, carriers, agents, Embassy offices, and other service providers Who we're looking for For this commercial position, we seek a colleague who: • Has at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in forwarding; knowledge of operational forwarding activities is a plus • Holds an (STC) MBO diploma, preferably in a commercial or economic direction • Has extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office • Has a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written • Is presentable • Is commercially strong, persuasive, and possesses excellent communication skills • Is naturally accurate and detail-oriented • Is creative, market-, result-, and customer-oriented • Enjoys working with colleagues • Has a usable network of relationships and knows how to maintain it well What we offer What do we offer you?
