Hydrographic Surveyor

As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will assist our clients with your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. We believe that your contribution is invaluable for important decisions to be made. Based on the data that you gathered, among other things, offshore wind farms are being installed and cables and pipelines are being laid on the seabed. Our working area is in The Netherlands, on the Dutch continental shelf but also abroad. You will be running projects all over the world! Your responsibilities: • Carrying out Hydrographic surveys on a project basis and ensuring optimum data quality for various clients. • Installing hydrographic equipment, including the calibration of these systems (survey vessel mobilization). • Interpreting, processing and reporting hydrographic data according to the applicable standards, procedures and work instructions, resulting in reports for our clients. • Working together with other teams within the Periplus Group. Your skills and expertise: • A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrography preferred) or relevant experience. • Knowledge of hydrographic survey equipment and data processing and/or GIS software. • an independent but collaborative work attitude We offer: A competitive salary and a complete remuneration package with perks and benefits.
