Vacancy Caretaker For 36 hours per week De Stadsschouwburg and the PHIL are the two largest venues in Haarlem. Each year we organize more than 400 events: from hip-hop to dance, theater and cabaret at the Stadsschouwburg and from pop and classical concerts to soul performances, television productions, business events and conferences at the PHIL. Together with a dedicated team, we ensure that artists, visitors and clients feel welcome and events run smoothly. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Facilities Manager for 36 hours per week Who are we? We are one organization with two prominent venues in the heart of Haarlem. Our total team consists of 120 employees and a group of dedicated volunteers. The Building Management & Facilities department ensures that our locations continue to operate smoothly, safely and pleasantly. The team consists of the Head of Building Management & Facilities, a senior Building Management officer, a Facilities Coordinator and four facilities managers. What will you do? As a facilities manager, you ensure that our locations function well every day and look well-maintained. You are technically proficient, quickly see what needs to be done and take initiative to handle maintenance and repair work. You combine technical insight with a hospitable and service-oriented attitude, making you a visible point of contact in the building. In this role, Topdesk tickets, daily maintenance and practical technical tasks play a major role. A selection of your activities: • You independently carry out small technical and facilities maintenance. • You identify bottlenecks in the building and take immediate appropriate action. • You handle tickets and repairs that come in via Topdesk. • You ensure that spaces are safe, tidy and ready to use. • You receive guests and suppliers and help colleagues as needed.
