High Tech Mechanical Design Engineer Hengelo (236862)

As a mechanical design engineer, you’ll be indispensable to the engineering team. You’ll be designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems. Your main responsibilities will be:  - Designing and optimizing complex mechanical components and rotating systems - Developing technical solutions that prioritize performance, reliability, and manufacturability - Conducting strength and stress analyses to evaluate structures and components  - Selecting suitable materials for applications under high mechanical and thermal loads  - Creating CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation - Collaborating with colleagues from Engineering, Production, and Testing to validate and further optimize designs - Actively contributing to design improvements and the continuous optimization of products and processes What's in it for you? - Gross salary ranging from €3,200 to €3,800 per month - Travel allowance - Full-time position (40 hours per week) - Direct contract with the client You bring the following experience and knowledge to the role: - At least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical field - At least five years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a comparable engineering role - Experience designing complex mechanical systems or high-precision rotating components - Knowledge of material properties, tolerances, and design principles for precision structures - Experience with CAD software, such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks - Experience with FEA analyses is a strong plus In addition, you also possess the following: - Proficiency in spoken and written English, as English is the working language within the organization - Preferably, you are proficient i
