Offshore wind is growing fast. The Netherlands is at the forefront of this transition, with ambitious targets for offshore wind capacity in the coming decade. Large-scale wind farms and next ‑ generation offshore grid systems require increasingly complex transport and installation solutions.
Within Allseas, the Heavy Lift Engineering department plays a key role in this development. Using our unique heavy lift capabilities - including the world ‑ leading vessel Pioneering Spirit - we install large offshore structures such as jackets, foundations and converter platforms for offshore wind projects, weighing up to 60.000 tons. Something no other company can do!
To support the growing portfolio of offshore wind installation projects, we are looking for a Heavy Lift Engineer with a strong interest in installation engineering and the energy transition.

Job Description
Heavy lift engineers have a wide range of tasks covering the provision of technical solutions as well as writing operational procedures and provision of offshore support. This includes: design of topsides and jacket lift plans, destruct zones, (subsea) separation scopes, conductor removal, load transfer operations, platform preparations, crane operation and associated rigging, provision of client design input.
As heavy lift engineer you are responsible for: - Design and engineering: provision of solutions to facilitate the project with safe, reliable and innovative designs and procedures; - Support and stakeholder management: Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment aligning your work with the project engineer and the various stakeholders.
