Currently, we're looking for an experienced, strategic Head of Finance to lead our Finance team through a transformative phase-outsourcing operational activities, enhancing data infrastructure, and strengthening business control. How you will make a difference As Head of Finance, you will partner with leadership to drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, and empower your team-all while advancing Triodos' mission to 'change finance to finance change'. As part of your role, you will: • Develop and execute the finance strategy, aligning it with Triodos' long-term business goals and values. • Lead a team of 10-11 professionals across Accounting, Reporting, Control, and Oversight, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability. • Oversee financial management, reporting, and control processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a dynamic environment. • Drive the company-wide budgeting process, challenge assumptions, and calculate business cases for new products or initiatives. • Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness, identifying risks and implementing improvements to safeguard financial integrity. • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making. • Lead change and innovation, leveraging technology (e.g., BI tools, data infrastructure) to enhance financial processes and insights. • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and ensuring alignment on financial goals and governance. To be successful in this role: You have: • A Master's degree in Accounting/Finance, supplemented by a relevant certification (e.g., RA, RC, CPA, CMA). • 9-10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role. • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. • Deep expertise in investment funds, including accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements. • Strategic thinking and business acumen, with experience leading budgeting processes and calculating business cases. • An agile mindset and tech-savviness, with a passion for leveraging data and technology to drive innovation. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to influence and collaborate at all levels.
