For our youngest players, volleyball practice start with a dynamic game called Circulation Mini Volleyball or Cool Moves Volley. This game consists of 6 different levels, and can be played from the age of 6. It teaches our youngest players the right volleyball techniques in a playful and dynamic way. Cool Moves Volley is played in teams of 4 kids for the youngest, or 6 players for the older kids. The court is smaller, the net is lowered and the ball is lighter compared to adult games. More information on CMV can be found on: www.nevobo.nl/wedstrijdsport/zaalvolleybal/cmv-competitie/#west .
CMV 1 - 5 have montly tournaments on Saturdays. CMV 6 has weekly competition games. The age guidelines for CMV levels are as follows: - CMV 1: 6-7 years - CMV 2: 7-8 years - CMV3: 8-9 years - CMV 4: 9-10 years - CMV 5: 10-11 years - CMV 6: 11-12 years
Besides age, other important factors are the child's volleyball experience, and personal/physical and social development.
