You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished products within the company. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly and that production never comes to a standstill. This company has been active for over 100 years in the production of high-quality substrates for professional horticulture. From the production site in Vriezenveen, products are manufactured and shipped to customers in more than 35 countries. Quality, reliability and sustainability are central to this company. Applying for this vacancy? Apply directly What are your duties? As a forklift driver, you are an indispensable link in the logistics process. Your duties include: - Loading and unloading of lorries. - Moving raw materials, peat products and substrates using a forklift. - Incoming and outgoing of materials to the production lines. - Preparing orders for dispatch. - Saving products in the correct location in the warehouse or on the outdoor site. - Checking goods for quantities and any damages. - Ensuring a safe, tidy, and well-organised working environment. - Working with colleagues from production and logistics to ensure the process runs optimally. What are we looking for? - You hold a valid forklift licence or are willing to obtain one through us. - You have experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a production or logistics environment. - You work precisely and have an eye for safety. - You are flexible and willing to work in a 3-shift system. - You are a proactive worker who can work independently as well as in a team.
