From creating new land to building ports and protecting coastlines, dredging is about shaping the world around us. As a Dredging Fleet Trainee at Boskalis in Papendrecht, you contribute to projects that have a visible and lasting impact. Depending on your assignment, you could be involved in large international projects such as the construction of new ports, land reclamation projects or coastal protection works. Recent examples include the development of Manila International Airport in the Philippines and coastal protection projects in the Maldives. While some assignments take place close to home, others bring you to project locations around the world where vessels operate continuously in international teams. The programme The 12-month Fleet Track Traineeship prepares you for a role as a Technical Superintendent within our dredging division. As a Technical Superintendent, you are responsible for the technical performance, maintenance and reliability of vessels and equipment.
