Finance Director Utrecht Organisation We are seeking an experienced Finance Director for a private equity-backed business with a strong market position and clear growth ambitions. This is a broad, end-to-end leadership role for a robust finance leader who combines financial discipline with operational rigour and strategic insight. Position As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the entire finance function and play a central role in overseeing planning, operations and performance. You will bring structure, accelerate decision-making and ensure that commercial growth is translated into profitability, cash generation and scalable processes. You will be a full member of the management team and a key sparring partner to the CEO and shareholders on matters relating to performance, investment, risk and value creation. - Overall responsibility for accounting, control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash management; - Driving improvements in EBITDA, margins and working capital position; - Leading planning and forecasting processes, including demand planning and inventory management; - Overseeing operational performance across supply chain, fulfilment, service levels and cost control; - Delivering reliable management information and KPI reporting to support rapid decision-making; - Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements across processes, teams and systems; - Supporting strategic investment decisions and growth initiatives within a private equity environment; - Further professionalising governance, discipline and a high-performance culture.
