Field Production Manager Field of Work: Seed Production Location: TR Legal Entity: KWS Türk Tarim Ticaret Contract Type: Regular Is Full Time?:: Yes Onsite/ Remote: Job ID: 16628 KWS Türk is looking for a Field Production Manager who will lead the field production activities in the country for corn and sunflower seeds. This unlimited position is available in full-time and located in our Turkish HQ, Eskişehir . Your Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee all corn and sunflower seed field production activities in line with the annual production program and in close collaboration with Regional Production Managers. • Ensure production operations consistently achieve KWS global quality standards and meet all production targets. • Manage field production costs and drive efficiency to achieve budgeted Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) per unit. • Develop and implement short- and long-term field production strategies to support business growth and production sustainability. • Define and manage grower pricing structures, contract models, and commercial agreements. • Organize and coordinate all field production activities in accordance with KWS policies, global rules, and operational guidelines. • Plan future production developments and evaluate required investments in field equipment, infrastructure, and technology. • Oversee the maintenance, utilization, and performance of company-owned machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. • Plan, recruit, and manage seasonal labor and technical staff based on production requirements and budget constraints. • Build, maintain, and expand a strong production network by identifying and contracting new key growers and production regions. • Enhance the negotiation, technical, and operational capabilities of team members through coaching and development initiatives. • Develop and maintain a high-performing seed production grower network aligned with KWS production standards and philosophy. • Ensure full adherence to KWS Safety and Compliance standards across all field production operations. • Drive continuous learning and professional development within the production team through coaching, training, and mentoring. • Represent and promote KWS corporate culture, values, and standards throughout the area of responsibility. • Hold full disciplinary and people management responsibility for the Field Production Department. • Monitor and manage budget performance, including forecast versus actual expenditure analysis, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Your Profile: • You already reside in or can move to Eskişehir . • University degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in agricultural production . • Strong knowledge of agronomic and technical seed production practices, preferably in corn and sunflower seed production. • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage high-performing teams. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new ERP systems and digital tools. • Valid B class driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of working time), including domestic and international travel as required. • Fluent in Turkish & English , with strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management capabilities. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. • Commitment to continuous learning, self-development, and professional growth. • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with growers, partners, and stakeholders. • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance short-term priorities and long-term business goals. • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. • High ethical standards with a strong commitment to compliance, integrity, and professional conduct.
