The Rotterdam Challenge is a social broker: we connect entrepreneurs with societal needs. We connect people, social organizations, and entrepreneurs. We challenge socially engaged entrepreneurs to deploy Manpower, Materials, and Resources for the residents of our city. Our primary objective is to improve the quality of life for residents in Rotterdam. We are looking for project leaders who want to get to work as volunteers. You will work together with other volunteers on a project. Some projects are already underway, while others are still in the starting blocks or have yet to be conceived. Are you currently working as a project manager, or have you worked as one before, and do you enjoy coordinating and bringing structure? Experience from both the corporate and social sectors is valuable. Welcome to the Rotterdam Challenge! The tasks involved include: • Leading a project or setting up a project • Establishing contact with involved parties, entrepreneurs, and social organizations • Collaborating with volunteers in the project team • Finding new volunteers from your own network (or via the project partners) • Discussing progress with the manager and, if necessary, with a communications colleague. • Recording project progress in the Teams environment What we offer: a great experience for your CV, knowledge enrichment, network expansion, and a fun time.
