EPLAN Specialist Contact Apply = 1024" > Function Eekels | TBI is looking for an EPLAN Specialist for the Business Support unit to strengthen the Technology & Digitalization department (preferably based in Zaandam). As an EPLAN Specialist, you are responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the configuration base within EPLAN and related engineering applications. You ensure that engineers can work efficiently, uniformly, and data-driven. You collaborate closely with engineers and key users across various business units to realize efficient, uniform, and future-proof work processes. In addition, you are the point of contact for EPLAN users: you support, advise, and train engineers so that they can make optimal use of our engineering applications in their daily work. What is expected of you? • Developing and managing EPLAN structures, macro libraries, and design standards; • Setting up and maintaining master data, including parts database, project structures, and reports; • Configuring EPLAN applications (P8, ProPanel, Preplanning, eBuild) and connections with other systems (such as data platform, ERP, or cable database); • Supporting, training, and guiding users in the efficient and uniform use of EPLAN tools, among others; • Developing guidelines, best practices, and process improvements; • Analyzing user requirements and translating them into new functionalities or configuration adjustments; • Collaborating with engineering teams within various business units and contributing to standardization initiatives; • Assisting with setting up data connections between the various engineering applications. The Business Support unit consists of the departments ICT, HR, Business Improvement, Purchasing, Finance & Administration, Controlling, and Technology & Digitalization. They support the Eekels organization in various areas. The Technology & Digitalization department is primarily concerned with the management of design software such as EPLAN. = 1024" > Experience Do you recognize yourself in this profile? • A bachelor level education in electrical engineering; • At least 5 years of experience with EPLAN applications; • An experienced user of EPLAN Electric P8, EPLAN ProPanel and preferably EPLAN eBuild; • Knowledge of engineering processes, data management, and configuration-driven design is a plus; • Experience with macro development or automation within EPLAN is an advantage; • Affinity with scripting, process optimization, and standardization; • Strong analytical skills and capable of developing complex technical structures and configuration rules; • Communicatively skilled and able to guide users through new working methods; • Independent, proactive, and focused on quality improvement. = 1024" > What we offer At Eekels Technology we offer a wide range of attractive employment conditions.
