The Role As a Engineering Manager at Fastned, you will support and guide two cross-functional squads: - The Fastned App: Shaping the primary interface between our brand and thousands of EV drivers. - Payments & Revenue: Creating frictionless transactions and reliable systems in a a complex, multi-currency European market You will be key support and mentor for these teams. Your goal is to foster the clarity and trust they need to do their best work, while ensuring every individual has a dedicated path for professional development. This is primarily a people-focused leadership role; your greatest impact comes from building an inclusive environment where engineers feel a deep sense of belonging and confidence in their direction. Beyond your squads, you will contribute to the growth of our entire engineering culture. You'll collaborate with the Head of Engineering and fellow managers to evolve our hiring practices, integrate new technologies thoughtfully, and ensure our systems remain secure as we scale.
