The company grows, packs and sells fresh, tasty tomatoes all year round. Sobre la empresa Kaaij Brothers consists of 6 locations. 4 locations at Tinte, 2 at Vierpolders and Oostvoorne. Each one being different in size and growing a different variety of tomatoes. Each location has their own team. Kaaij Brothers offers work year-round, not just seasonal. The environment is multinational. The organization is well-structured and very organized. Distinctive is the extensive introduction and the ability to work year-round. ¿Qué harás? You will be working in a greenhouse: this is a large glass building that allows sunlight to reach the plants growing inside. In summer, greenhouses can become very hot. In winter, they are heated, creating a pleasant environment. There are many activities; most of them being working on the plants and tomatoes. The most import aspect is your motivation to work and your willingness to learn new skills. Besides that, it is important that you can work in teams alongside other colleagues and treat everyone with respect: your managers and colleagues. In the first weeks you will be guided and helped. After that, you are expected to work independently and with good performance. - Cut tomatoes - Cut leaves - Turn / rotate plants around special slings (usually on a lift) - Lower plants so people can cut tomatoes (usually on a lift) - Remove unnecessary tomato buds (usually on a lift) - Cleaning the greenhouse Most of the work is done on electric lifts (see picture).
