Then we are looking for you! job opening electrical technician icons bullets About the job As an Electrical Technician , you will work from electrical schematics and technical drawings while contributing practical solutions to technical challenges. You will also be responsible for the wiring and electrical connection of machines. You will ensure the quality of your work by carrying out inspections on assembly, wiring, and documentation. You will make sure that revisions and technical changes are accurately implemented. In addition, you will support colleagues with technical questions and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient working environment. Your key responsibilities: • Assembling, building, and wiring control panels and low-voltage electrical cabinets. • Electrically connecting complete production and machine lines in our workshop and, when required, at customer sites both domestically and internationally. • Installing and wiring PLC systems, servo drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), safety components, and field cabling. • Identifying opportunities to improve panel construction and wiring processes. • Collaborating with engineers, production planners, and technicians to deliver the best technical solutions. • Contributing to the standardization, quality, and continuous improvement of the panel-building department. What you bring We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a hands-on mindset and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Key qualifications: • A completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics , or a related field. • Experience with control panel building, electrical control cabinets, and machine wiring. • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. • Practical knowledge of assembly, wiring, and electrical installation work. • Good command of Dutch and basic proficiency in English. • Willingness to travel internationally several times a year for installation and electrical commissioning at customer sites. • Providing a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be part of the application process.
