Company description Focus Engineering is currently looking for an Electrical Project Engineer for a biorefinery in Rotterdam. Junior, Medior and Senior candidates are welcome Freelance/ZZP is also possible (with the option to transition into permanent employment after secondment) Salary (secondment): €5,500 to €8,200 gross per month About the Company This biorefinery was established in 2010 and is one of Europe's largest producers of bioethanol, animal feed, and CO₂. Current technical investments are focused on growth, sustainability, emission reduction, electrification, and expanding the product portfolio. The Projects Department is responsible for developing and executing the capital investment program, primarily consisting of expansion, improvement, and replacement projects. Note: Over the coming years, a large-scale investment program is planned, with approximately €150 million being invested in electrical expansion and greenfield projects. You will work on challenging projects involving high-voltage systems up to 150 kV, energy infrastructure, transformers, substations, and renewable energy solutions such as wind turbines. Job description What you will do: - Responsible for CAPEX projects - Translate the project scope into an engineering package and associated budget in line with the company's strategy - Work closely with all relevant stakeholders - Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and execution of Management of Change (MOC) projects Who are you?
