For an innovative maritime engineering organization, we are looking for an Electrical Layout Engineer - Marine. Functie As an Electrical Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Designing and modelling cable support systems - Cable routes and penetrations for naval vessels - You will ensure that electrical installations are designed safely - Efficiently and in accordance with naval standards and technical requirements - Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams - You will develop practical and future-proof cable routing solutions while considering EMC requirements, shock and vibration loads, redundancy and overall system safety - You will also contribute to technical documentation and project progress throughout the engineering phase. Voorwaarden - Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Maritime Engineering or a related technical discipline - Experience with or interest in designing cable support systems and cable routing - Familiarity with naval engineering requirements such as EMC, shock loading, vibration and safety, or willingness to develop this expertise - Experience with 3D CAD design software is an advantage - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Structured, accurate and detail-oriented way of working - Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams - Good command of Dutch and/or English.
