The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence across our network of service centres (depots) and pallet manufacturing partners. This role plays a vital part in maintaining quality standards, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. Working closely with internal teams, depot operators, suppliers, and customers, you will identify issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the network. Key Responsibilities Depot Performance & Control - Monitor depot performance against key KPIs, including damage rates, stock accuracy, repair rates, and productivity. - Conduct regular site inspections and visits across assigned depots. - Organise and oversee periodic stock counts and inventory audits. - Ensure compliance with PEFC, ISPM15, and SHEQ standards. - Act as the primary contact for Health & Safety matters within depots. - Monitor pallet destruction activities and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company procedures. Audit & Compliance - Carry out regular operational and compliance audits across depots and manufacturing sites. - Identify non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective actions. - Produce detailed audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans. - Support investigations relating to customer complaints, quality concerns, and operational incidents. - Conduct quality inspections on newly manufactured / Repaired pallets to ensure specification compliance.
