Functieomschrijving Start your day at the Albert Heijn Online Home Shop Center on Beiraweg 6 in Amsterdam. Before you leave, your delivery route is ready and your van is prepared for the day ahead. After a short vehicle check, you're ready to head out. As a Delivery Driver, you'll deliver groceries to customers across Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Every route is different, giving you the chance to explore new neighbourhoods while working independently. You are responsible for delivering every order safely, accurately and on time. More than just delivering groceries, you'll be the friendly face customers see at their doorstep. A smile, professional attitude and reliable service make a real difference to every delivery. The Home Shop Center is one of the key delivery locations for Albert Heijn Online. Every day, drivers and planners work together to ensure thousands of customers receive their online grocery orders. While the logistics team prepares everything behind the scenes, you focus on providing excellent service on the road. If you enjoy driving, staying active and meeting new people, this role offers the perfect balance of independence, responsibility and customer contact. What does a typical shift look like? You collect your route at the Home Shop Center, inspect your delivery van and head out to deliver groceries across Amsterdam and nearby towns. Do I need delivery experience? No experience is required. If you have a valid Category B driving licence and enjoy driving, we'll provide all the training you need. Why work from the Amsterdam location?
