Dealer Network Development Specialist - Importer Markets

Our client is looking for a Dealer Network Development Specialist (Payroll or Freelancer) who is immediately available to start a 6-month project + potential for extension. You bring strong experience in automotive network development and an understanding of dealer standards, retail formats, and aftersales requirements. This role ensures that dealer network proposals submitted by importers meet European standards and are aligned with HQ requirements. Description • Review and validate dealer proposals submitted by importers, ensuring compliance with Zeekr standards, dealer requirements, and business objectives. • Evaluate dealer locations, showroom concepts, brand standards, operational capabilities, and overall business cases to support approval decisions. • Coordinate dealer approval processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, and Network Development. • Act as the primary liaison between importer markets and European HQ, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and efficient decision-making. • Monitor dealer implementation projects, track milestones, manage timelines, and proactively address risks or delays. • Conduct dealer site visits before and after approval to assess location suitability, operational readiness, and compliance with Zeekr standards. • Ensure consistent brand representation, customer experience, and dealer network quality across importer markets. • Challenge proposals where necessary, identify improvement opportunities, and support importers in resolving operational and implementation issues. • Coordinate with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful dealer onboarding and rollout execution. • Provide ongoing support and guidance to importer partners throughout the dealer development and implementation lifecycle. Profile • Immediately available for 32 - 40 hours/week • Can commute to Amsterdam at least 2-3 times per week • Fluent English; Dutch is a plus • Strong experience in automotive network development, preferably across importer or distributor models • Solid understanding of dealer standards, retail formats, and aftersales requirements • Experience in project coordination across multiple stakeholders and markets • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess complex proposals and ensure completeness • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence partners Job Offer • Contract for 6 months, with a possibility of extension • Work week of 32 to 40 hours • Salary between €5.000 and €8.000 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on experience • Competitive rate for freelancers to be agreed based on experience • Pension scheme • Travel expense reimbursement
