Dealer Network Development Manager (Payroll or Freelancer)

Our client is looking for a Dealer Network Development Manager who is immediately available to start a 6-month project + potential for extension. You bring 5+ years of experience and preferably a background in automotive or related. This position drives consistent implementation of network plans, ensures compliance with SI/CI and governance frameworks, and enables the timely and high-quality opening of dealer locations across Europe. Description Execution Oversight • Act as the central coordination point between HQ and regional network teams • Ensure all regions are fully aligned with: • Network development strategy • Roll-out plans and timelines • Dealer selection, appointment, and onboarding policies • Provide structured onboarding, guidance, and ongoing support to regional teams (documentation, requirements, solutions) • Drive consistency in execution standards and decision-making across markets Dealer Roll-out Execution Support • Enable and support regional teams to deliver timely dealer openings in line with the European business plan • Track milestones and ensure transparency on rollout status across all markets • Support issue resolution and escalation management to prevent delays • Ensure readiness of all elements required for successful dealer launch Special focus area - SI/CI Compliance & Facility Standards • Ensure all dealer locations across Europe meet or exceed defined Sales Identity (SI) and Corporate Identity (CI) standards • Define and enforce compliance frameworks in collaboration with regional teams • Act as final control point for design validation and quality assurance Profile • Immediately available for 32 - 40 hours/week • Can commute to Amsterdam at least 2-3 times per week • Fluent English; Dutch is a plus • A structured and disciplined approach to governance, with the ability to manage complex processes, approvals, and compliance frameworks across multiple markets • Proven project and program management capabilities, delivering multiple dealer roll-out projects simultaneously within tight timelines and defined SLAs • Strong execution focus, with the ability to remove bottlenecks and ensure timely and high-quality dealer openings in line with business plan targets • Hands-on experience in network development, with a solid understanding of dealer lifecycle processes (selection, appointment, onboarding) • Ideally, the candidate brings strong analytical and strategic thinking, including the ability to develop and apply Area of Influence (AOI) models based on market potential, segment share, and volume targets. In addition, experience working with network planning tools and platforms, translating data insights into actionable network decisions Job Offer • Contract for 6 months, with a possibility of extension • Work week of 32 to 40 hours • Salary between €7.000 and €10.000 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on experience • Competitive rate for freelancers to be agreed based on experience • Pension scheme • Travel expense reimbursement
