Your role involves handling heavy large flat glass plates with precision and ensuring they are safely and efficiently moved to the right locations. Working in a clean, modern, and safety-first environment, you'll collaborate closely with your team to maintain a seamless workflow. 3-shift times: pm, pm and am. Scheuten Glas is situated nearby the highway Duisburg - Eindhoven (B40/ A67) and is relatively easy to reach from example Viersen, Mönchengladbach, Nettetal, Venray and Roermond. You will be responsible for: - Operate the overhead crane to safely transport heavy, big glassplates (up to 6 meters x 3.15 meters) within the factory and warehouse. - Place glass plates vertically onto storage racks - named "bok"- with precision and care. - Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining situational awareness. - In the future: learn additional skills, with the potential to support as a Backup Process Operator on the coating department.
