What the Role Entails - Advises the leadership team on management issues and effectively implements new or improved programs, policies, and processes to mitigate risk; - Leads, establishes, and implements human resources strategy aligned with overall business plans and objectives. - Monitors and ensures full compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices; proactively reviews, drafts, and updates internal HR policies and compliance-related documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Develops and drives local compliance initiatives and projects to ensure organizational adherence to evolving legal frameworks. - Possesses deep knowledge of local benefits practices and has experience working with local insurance providers or third-party vendors on benefits or HR-related initiatives. - Advises employees on HR policies, procedures, and processes, and supports a positive employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle-from hiring and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding. - Organizes and leads local cultural and engagement activities to foster a strong company culture and employee morale. - Demonstrates strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional resources and drive the successful implementation of HR initiatives.
