As a Cost Engineer Dredging in Rotterdam you turn technical expertise into winning solutions. You work with specialists across the business and contribute to some of the world's most complex marine projects. Every tender is a new challenge. Every calculation helps build the future together. As a Cost Engineer Dredging you play a key role in securing complex dredging and marine infrastructure projects across the globe. You work in multidisciplinary tender teams where engineering, planning, risk management and commercial expertise come together. Your technical insight and financial understanding help create realistic and competitive tenders that make a difference. You assess opportunities, identify risks and translate project information into reliable cost estimates. From the first concept until project handover your work creates a strong foundation for successful execution. Your work directly contributes to winning projects that protect coastlines, improve ports and create new opportunities for communities around the world. You combine technical knowledge with analytical thinking to deliver reliable cost estimates and practical solutions. You work closely with colleagues from production, engineering, procurement and commercial teams to build the best possible tender. • Prepare cost estimates for international dredging and marine infrastructure tenders. • Collect information from engineering, production and procurement teams and during project visits when required. • Translate technical information into budgets, schedules and work plans. • Prepare project budgets and support project teams during the execution phase. You report to the relevant Tender Management team and work closely with specialists from across the Dredging business. You become part of an international team where knowledge sharing, trust and collaboration are part of everyday work. Together you develop smart solutions for complex marine challenges and learn from experienced colleagues across the business.
