Hbo Ervaring Medior/Senior Lees over werkgever Controller Sector Overig About the Role We are looking for an experienced Country Controller to lead financial reporting and control activities for our Netherlands operations. While mastering US GAAP financial reporting , statutory accounts, internal controls, and industrial finance processes, you will be acting as a trusted finance lead to the business. This role will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial statements , drive strong governance and SOX compliance, and continuously improve finance processes in close collaboration with shared services and regional teams. The role combines technical accounting excellence, leadership, and business partnering in a complex, international environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close - Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearend close for The Netherlands, including subsidiaries and joint ventures; - Own full US GAAP financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, disclosures); - Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and internal reporting requirements; - Manage complex accounting topics (e.g. revenue recognition, leases, tolling arrangements, key balance sheet areas); - Own MarktoMarket (MTM) accounting from a controlling perspective; - Deliver accurate and timely reporting packages to regional and corporate stakeholders. Process Excellence & Shared Services Collaboration - Own endtoend finance processes for the country; - Drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and reporting.
