You select suppliers, conduct pre-qualifications and evaluations, and coordinate the submission of procurement packages, including draft agreements and framework contracts. You then prepare bid evaluations for internal approval. You negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers in cooperation with the legal department, after which you award the contract or framework agreement. Projects range from installing deepwater pipelines for oil and gas fields to removing old offshore platforms, using advanced technologies.
