As a commissioning engineer, you are responsible for testing and commissioning a wide range of technical installations and you report directly to the service manager and/or project manager. The business unit Marine & Offshore supplies worldwide electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications. Complete installations are custom designed and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. In addition, complete installations are shipped as a ready-made construction kit to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services to the shipbuilding industry consist of: advice, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel building, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.
