As a Commercial Support Officer, you are the connecting link between customers, sales, planning, logistics and production. You make sure orders run smoothly from start to finish and act as the main point of contact for your customers. You manage customers across a number of countries, mainly the Netherlands and Belgium, and continuously keep track of ongoing orders, delivery times and agreements. No two days are the same. You oversee the entire order process and make sure customers, planning, logistics and production are always aligned. This means customers know what to expect and orders run smoothly from order placement to delivery. What will you do? Your tasks include: • Processing and monitoring sales orders • Informing customers about delivery times, changes and transport • Coordinating with planning, logistics, production and sales • Maintaining contact with carriers and external partners • Processing export documentation • Managing customer and product data in Exact Synergy • Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to process improvements • Keeping the overall forecast up to date in the forecast system You will join a team of two Customer Service colleagues within the commercial department. Together, you make sure customers are served correctly and on time. You will also work closely with colleagues from sales, supply chain and production.
