Vacancy As a CNC Miller/Turner at System Supply, you are responsible for independently manufacturing complex components on modern Mazak machines. In the morning, you lay the foundation by translating technical drawings into flawless programs using Hypermill, often programming directly at the machine or at your own workstation. You select the appropriate tools, cutters, and clamping methods, and precisely set up the machine for a new production run-whether it involves parts for a UVC robot or a biogas generator. After producing the first prototype, you carry out a full quality inspection using precision measuring instruments to ensure the result meets micrometer-level accuracy. You will work in the CNC department alongside one fellow CNC Miller, with whom you collaborate closely. In this down-to-earth team, craftsmanship is the standard; you divide daily tasks based on incoming production orders and check each other's work. In addition to your direct colleague, you work closely with assembly staff and regularly interact with the operations office, from whom you receive your assignments.
As a CNC Miller/Turner at System Supply, you are responsible for independently manufacturing complex components on modern Mazak machines. Working week CNC Miller / Turner (Mazak Specialist) On a good working day, you have a lot of variety in the components you produce on the Mazak machine, and with your technical advice you are able to solve a problem in assembly, allowing the final product to be successfully assembled. On a less enjoyable workday, the technology doesn't cooperate and you are faced with complex issues. In addition, you spend a lot of time correcting mistakes made elsewhere in the process. There may be a few frustrations along the way, but together you work towards a solution. • Mo • Tu • We • Th • Fr • Mo • We • Th • Fr • Non-scheduled day Firsthand experience A new project comes in for a small series of components. However, when analysing the technical drawings, you notice that the selected material will cause problems in practice because it is likely to deform. What do you do? You stop the process and immediately contact Engineering or the Production Planner to share your findings. You explain why the current material choice could compromise production speed or accuracy and advise on an alternative material. Together, you determine the best solution, adjust the program, and ensure the machine settings are optimised for the new approach. Only once the technical issue has been resolved and manufacturability is guaranteed do you start production of the series. What do you do? Growth We see investing in the knowledge and skills of our team as the key success factor: our employees are the people who make the difference. We offer all colleagues the opportunity to develop themselves. For example, you can follow training courses such as Advanced Hypermill and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
