Attractive pension scheme through the Merchant Navy Compensation for gym membership fees Collective health insurance Annual workload of 168 working days In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire engine room, carrying out technical maintenance and repairs, and handling the ship's administration. You will work closely with a tight-knit team of six crew members including Dutch-speaking officers. You will report directly to the captain and work closely with a technical superintendent and a technical purchaser. The current sailing and leave rotation in the is 4 weeks on/4 weeks off in Europe and 6 weeks on/6 weeks off for assignments outside of Europe. Your profile • For ocean towage, you must hold at least an STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer (Unlimited), along with valid STCW certificates, a valid medical certificate, and a valid seaman's bookYou have experience in managing an engine room and have extensive technical knowledge. • You work well under pressure, are resourceful and have a hands-on mentality. • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
