You do this by staying on top of your numbers and visiting stores weekly-because that's where our customers are and what everything at Action revolves around. As a buyer, you are responsible for the Stationery & Hobby category. Within this category, you act as an entrepreneur, managing all aspects of purchasing together with your team. From data analysis, planning, and quality improvement to introducing new products and sustainability initiatives. You interact daily with buying assistants and departments such as Supply Chain, Commercial Planning, Product Technology, and Marketing. Together, you ensure that our assortment is high quality, low-priced, and always in stock. You mainly work at our head office in Zwaagdijk. You will regularly travel within Europe and, depending on your category, also to the Far East. You visit suppliers, trade fairs, and stores to spot new trends.
