As a buyer within the FMCG sector, you will manage procurement operations, ensuring optimal supplier relationships and cost efficiency. This role is based in Breda and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a thriving Procurement & Supply Chain department. Client Details We are a well-established large organisation operating within the FMCG industry in Breda. We work with 200 colleagues together and in our procurement team you work with 22 other colleagues. Description As an operational buyer: • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods. • You make analyses and ensure a good supplier performance. • Monitor and process on-time delivery and order confirmation, these should match the agreed upon price levels. • You are able to translate data from the ERP system into valuable supplier performance reports as input for the strategic direction of the commodity/category. • You are focusing on the Spanish market. • Ensure purchase orders are accurate and avoid invoice queries. • Collaborate closely with the buyers and other internal teams. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment. Profile A successful operational buyer should have: • At least MBO+ working level. • 1 or 2 years of experience within procurement is a plus. • Sofware experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP. • You are accurate, pragmatic and action-oriented. • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Spanish is a plus. • Ability to work effectively in a structured and fast-paced environment.
