They are looking for a hands-on Senior Azure Cloud / Platform Engineer to lead the design and delivery of a hub-and-spoke network transformation, resource-group consolidation, and the migration of containerised, AI-powered applications to a hardened, well-governed Azure environment. This is a delivery-focused contract for an engineer who is equally comfortable in the network layer, in Terraform, and in the CI/CD pipeline - someone who can take a migration from architecture through to a validated, secured production cutover. What you'll be doing - Designing and refactoring Azure networking: VNets, VNet peering, NSGs, route tables, Private Endpoints, Private Link, DNS resolution, Application Gateway and Load Balancers. - Leading a hub-and-spoke transformation, network consolidation, and resource-group consolidation across environments. - Building and maintaining infrastructure as code in Terraform (expert level) , with Bicep where required. - Deploying and operating containerised workloads on Azure Container Apps , including blue/green deployment strategies. - Integrating Azure AI & data services: Document Intelligence (ADI), Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Cosmos DB and PostgreSQL. - Implementing identity and security controls: Managed Identities, RBAC, Key Vault, Private Endpoints and Zero Trust principles. - Building multi-environment YAML DevOps pipelines, service connections and release/deployment strategies. - Supporting hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute) and firewall rule desi...
